Carl Seemann Plays Bach
Recorded: Beethovensaal, Hannover, Germany, 1953-1958
Older classical recordings collectors probably know pianist Carl Seemann as a chamber music player, especially through his Mozart's violin sonatas with violinist Wolfgang Schneiderhan. Yet Seemann performed and recorded as a soloist in his own right. Here are gathered his Bach solo recordings for DG made in 1953-1958. Anyone looking for a solid starting point for the Bach piano works is in good hands with these solid and technically perfect interpretations.

From good old MM archive. It is to add to our earlier post of Mozart's Violin Sonatas played by Wolfgang Schneiderhan and Carl Seemann
